i live in california(SF bay area), and i have always been interested in russian language and culture. i found this site from birubirFilms' channel on youtube. looks great! i started to learn russian several years ago, beginning with the cyrillic alphabet and some words and phrases; but then my studies trailed off, and i didn't really make much headway again until mid-2008. ever since then, i've been slowly but steadily learning more and more in my free time. it all started when my dad gave me a book called "simplified russian grammar" from 1957. my studies picked back up again in 2008 because i met a russian girl online. :P
