The Pronoun is a part of speech that refers to an object without naming it. For example: Do you see that ? There are different types of pronouns in Russian:
1st person - Я (I), Мы (We) refer to the speaker. 2nd person - Ты (You), Вы (You) refer to the listener. 3rd person - Он (He), Она (She), Оно (It) and Они (They) refer to those who you're talking about.
In Russian there's a reflective pronoun СЕБЯ (close in meaning to SELF). For example: Приведи себя в порядок. - Go get yourself in order. Купи себе хорошую одежду - Buy (for yourself) some nice clothes.
Мой, твой, наш, ваш, свой, его, её, их refer to something that belongs to someone. For example, Это ваши книги? Are these books yours?
Этот, тот, такой, столько refer to objects , their qualities and quantities. В тот вечер я не пил, не пел...That evening I didn't drink or sang...
Кто, что, какой, чей, который, сколько are used in questions. For example: Кто он? Who is he?
Весь, всякий, каждый, сам, самый, любой, другой, reflect a general quality of a object. Любой человек желает успеха. Every man wants success.
Никто, ничто, никакой, ничей, некого, нечего, reflect an absence of an object, or certain quality, quantity and are formed with the use of prefixes -не,-ни Я ничего не помню. I do no remember anything (I remember nothing).
Некто(someone), нечто(something), некоторый(some type of), некий(certain), несколько(several) (stress on the first syllible), кто-то(someone), что-то(something), какой-нибудь(some type of) etc reflect some undefined objects, qualities or quantities Кто-то ждёт тебя на улице.
