Dear friends! I was recently trying to translate a poem by Vladimir Nabokov and came across a word, that I can't find a translation for anywhere! The word- полупавлинье. And in it's context- "Там в роще дремлет ангел дикий, полупавлинье существо." Maybe this is something a native Russian would better understand? Any help is appreciated!
