Prepositional Case.
Now let's learn to use the Prepositional case of Singular Russian nouns. We'll need it to say that we work or study at a certain place. Prepositional case is used to answer questions starting with Где? Most nouns are used with prepositions в/на (in/on) and have the ending-е. Study the following table :

1. Russian verbs have an unchanging, undefined form - the infinitive - which denotes an action or state but does not define the grammatical time, gender or number. Most infinitives end in-ть. Some end in-ти and very few end in-чь.
Reflective verbs also get the ending -ся / -сь (after vowels).
2. Russian verbs have 3 tenses : present, past and future (simple and compound).
3. Verbs in the present tense change by the person and number. There are 2 types of conjugation I and II. Most Russian verbs are Conjugation I. These end in -ать / -ять (class 1); -еть (class 2); and -овать / -евать (class 3), -нуть (class 4). Those having in their paradagm -е will in the 3rd person plural have endings -ут/-ют. And those having -и in their paradigm will have in the 3rd person plural endings -ат/-ят. But there are some exceptions of course. Learn more in the Grammar section.
