I was asked  a good question recently, "How do you know if there's a Ь in a word?"

Друзья, открою вам секрет:
Мне без варенья жизни нет.
Для здоровья и веселья Ем печенье, ем варенье.

You mean the soft sign? Good question. I would not know without looking it up. This board is slow but there is so much good information here. I would like to see it pick up.

smilies/sad.gif( There's a kind of an internal problem of the website, so I can't post anything right. I have a text and an audio ready, I just can't put it here. It's going to be a two-part post, about the soft sign role in phonetics and in grammar. smilies/sad.gif(
