извините, I'm having trouble viewing some of the videos and wonder if someone out there can help? I tried to go to the beginner lesson 7 most common russian verbs, for example, but can't view it. I get a status "waiting for www.screencast.com", and then after a minute or so I get "transferring data from www.amazon.com", and after about 4 or 5 minutes of waiting with a big white screen I give up. I went to screencast.com and could view their demo video, so I don't know what else to check. Any ideas? Спасибо, Gillian.

One of the ideas I had for this blog is to start blogging in Russian and I encourage you to do so as well. I could help you with things if you have a hard time finding words to express certain ideas.
On February 4th I turned 28 and I had a birthday party. I invited some of my good friends to a bowling center where we sat at a table where we were served food and drinks and also we had a bowling competition. I scored 135 points and was the winner! Apart from bowling we played Russian billiard and drank draft beer. A glass of beer cost 130 rubles (about $4-5 )That was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it. I will upload pics later if you want.
