Time Differences
There are usually eight hours between Moscow and New York. But don't forget that Russia has ELEVEN (almost half the world's) time zones!
So, for example, it is 10 hours later in Yekaterinburg than New York.
To make things even more complicated, Russia usually goes on daylight savings time two weeks later than the United States!
Since we went on daylight savings this weekend, this means Russia will not be on daylight savings till March 28.
Whew! What a puzzle trying to figure out when to call or Skype someone in your favorite Russian city?
If you'd like some help figuring out when is a good time to call, you can always go to this site: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/search.html.
